At the age of 4, Stephen watched his father perform in Broadway musical comedies from a backstage point of view. From then on, he was never satisfied with looking at life from obvious angles.
Since 1988, Stephen’s cartoons and illustrations have been featured in over 30 Wall and Engagement Calendars, 200 Greeting Cards, and 3 Humor books, to name just a few. His work first struck a familiar chord with women, who found his cartoon series “ PMS ATTACKS” , about the hormonally imbalanced life of everywoman MELINDA , both funny and insightful.
Stephen’s creations have been published and licensed to such companies as, Microsoft, St. Martins Press, Doubleday/Bantam Books, Recycled Paper Gifts, and Universal Television.
Stephen cut his creative teeth while working in television as a talent coordinator and co-producer for various talk shows including Metromedia Ch. 5 ( now Fox-TV), ABC-TV’S Wide World of Entertainment, and for THE ONE TO ONE ORGANIZATION, a non-profit organization for the mentally handicapped created by JOHN LENNON and YOKO ONO, and chaired by Geraldo Rivera.
Recently, Stephen wrote his first musical comedy " Psycho Dairy Farm The Musical! The Twisted Tale of Dinky Farms. In the comedic vein of " Urine Town " and "Avenue Q", Psycho Dairy Farm! is about a hormonally imbalanced cow, an Al Pacino impersonating pig, a neurotic singing chicken, and a six foot two-inch horsefly, that save the world.
Presently Stephen is working on several children’s book and theatre concepts, while trying to help others simply find their way
